Look at these two silly ducks sneaking around in our backyard. Like literally sneaking around like Solid Snake or something. They weren’t spooked by dog barks or anything. Might have a nest nearby.
Watched this slick cat move like a hunter for about 15 minutes stalking a dumb bunny only to not catch it. What a fucking loser. LOL
Rewinding Hope

The side track ended off a jagged cliff
My memories fell in tailspin
Towards darkness bound by no white stripes
Down on me she came
The guarded angel of my plain brain
She caught me and dragged me up
But pulled me down
Broken me into shards of glass
Splinters of my body exploding all over her
But after all her failed attempt
She briskly flew away
One crystal tear sparkling down her cheek
Never to catch a falling star again
Back to where she came
And my memories of her
Spinning on cycle slowly into the abyss
Reminding me
To rewind hope I might forget
What she set the track to play

Robins, Two

Robins, two, they soar!
Over glade they freely glide
Red dawn sun burning down
Flowing red blood hearts ignite
Robins, two, triumphant wings!
Majestic crimson blur in wind
Shades in bursts of color fade the sky
To reveal silver violent violet gray within
Robins, two, lose flight to fight!
As tears pour down from heaven’s gate
Cutting through royal blue cold clouds
And strike of Zeus, robins, one, make
Cold Feet

In the white frost covered earth
A budding light of sun emerged
Reaching for life in new warm air
It stretched its fingers and petals
Yellow and golden with red specks shimmering
Dancing with the dry blue despair
The wind swirled down and scooped it up
Cold, no, warm, no, ice, no heat
And hand turned pale next to cold feet
Wisconsin Winters And The Fall

My chair is warm other seasons
When I sit and sip and stare
Out my writing room window
Wisconsin winters creep in, of course
Biting, dry, crackling cold air
Theatrical but silent with a bow
And the heat from my lamp stops
Before it tires battling the chill
Of the mighty season known to kill all
But in my chair I wrap myself
Double layered sweaters and blankets and socks
To cough, to cushion myself for my fall
Took a cheap mini-vacation for under $10 (in gas and food). Visited Fonferek Glen County Park just outside of Green Bay. It’s beautiful and relaxing.
This bunny family, last I counted was about 5 of them, comes out at about 6-7pm.
