Spider-Mans No Way Home Review

Hollywood has struggled to pump out their movies for profit during these pandemic times. Sure, blame it on the pandemic and not the shitty movies no one wants to pay to watch. LOL. Even powerhouse movie franchise like these Spider-Man movies had to do a bunch of reshoots and re-releases in an attempt to recoup losses. So here’s Sony’s final (hopefully) attempt to re-release yet another cut of Spider-Man No Way Home, the third film in the third modern Spider-Man movie series in the past 20 years.

Ticket pre-sales for No Way Home seem to prove loyal fans want to see it. Most of the online ticket websites had crashed because of the overwhelming rush of buyers. Well, now you can look up pre-sold seats at your local movie theater’s website, if they have it, and it does seem to be mostly packed or sold-out screenings come premiere weekend. So if you want to experience the excitement and promise of an amazing Spider-Man movie, now is the time to jump on the hype train. more »

Nikon D3200 Photo Dump Sept 25 2021 Berries Flowers Cat

Pokeberries. DANGEROUSLY TOXIC TO EAT AND TOUCH.

Pokeberries. DANGEROUSLY TOXIC TO EAT AND TOUCH.

UPDATE June 20, 2022 – It seems there’s some mixed messages about pokeberries, might be some kind of fearmongering. People do eat these and make pies out of them, although they say it’s not sweet at all, and that bad taste might be where the fear of death and poison comes from. So do your own research.

Here are some random pics I took today straight out the Nikon D3200 DSLR. Them berries look too pretty. Warning though, these delicious-looking berries are actually incredibly toxic to humans and other animals like dogs and cows! Song birds can eat them though. They’re called pokeberries. So DO NOT EAT THEM! Also the sap is toxic too, so don’t let the sap touch your skin, since it can absorb in. DO NOT TOUCH IT! Should probably get rid of this thing before it gets too big. Apparently it gets more deadly as it matures. more »

How To View HTML Source Without Loading The Actual HTML

In Chrome and Firefox, you can view a web page’s source code directly by typing into the URL bar:

view-source:[webpage address goes here]

for example:
view-source:http://www.example.com

And that will load the source code without actually loading the HTML. This is useful if you don’t want any popups or malicious code to execute, or you’re debugging a webpage.

How To Login To Twitter Normally

UPDATE – Doesn’t seem to work all the time. What a joke.

If you’ve tried to login to Twitter but found it redirecting you to https://twitter.com/i/flow/login and it might spook you thinking it’s malicious (I don’t blame you). But it’s just Twitter’s mobile phone login, they’re trying to be like Google and keep track of all your different devices. Here’s how you’d get the original “normal” login.

Using a browser like Google Chrome, you have to use Incognito Mode so that it doesn’t store cookies. First, clear your browsing history and cookies. Then try logging into Twitter again. Hopefully, the flow login isn’t triggered and you get some peace of mind now. Hope it helps!

Or try this https://twitter.com/login?lang=en-gb otherwise, SOL.

How To Fix Windows 10 Icons Not Updating

How To Fix Windows 10 Icons Not Updating
By Chongchen Saelee

I found a link to instructions that actually works for Windows 10 icons not updating. Prior to Windows 10, the icons were stored in %userprofile%\AppData\Local\IconCache.db and all you had to do was delete that file and kill explorer.exe and start it again. At least, that seemed to work perfectly in Windows 7.

In Windows 10, you’re lucky if it updates the icons completely. You can follow the same steps, and it might work partially, but you’ll notice some icon sizes not updating. It’s associated to the filename and folder, so it’s cached somewhere else!

Well, indeed, Windows 10 stores multiple databases for all different icon sizes now, and in a whole different folder %homepath%\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\Explorer. So you’re gonna have to delete all of those database cache files in order to properly update your Windows 10 icons!

This article gives you the details on how to do it properly:

Hope this helps anyone from pulling their hair out.

Using Now Patent-Free MP3 Audio Format For Your Indie Games

Originally published on December 12, 2020

I’m super late posting this, as the news happened THREE YEARS AGO and the media didn’t spread the word. Anyway, as of 2017, the MP3 audio format is now patent-free. It doesn’t mean that you can now pirate all the commercial songs you want. What it actually means is now that the audio format is patent-free, you can implement an MP3 encoder/decoder into your game engine! That’s sweet! more »

My Top 5 Favorite Video Games of All Time

By Chongchen Saelee

I’ve been playing video games for most of my life (and contributed a lot behind the scenes as well). Most gamers are attracted to the visuals, the story, the music, the characters, the puzzles, etc. Everyone has their own taste. But here are my top 5 favorite video games of all time:

5.New Super Mario Bros (Nintendo DS, 2006)
Sure, the Super Mario games are gimmicky as hell, but seeing the new 3D + 2.5D graphics just adds so much more spectacle to it. There is also new gimmicky powers like Ice Flower, Propeller Suit, Giant Mario, etc. Playing on Nintendo DS doesn’t necessarily need to utilize those two screens all the time, but there are some levels that do and it’s cleverly designed. For the most part, you’re playing on only one of the DS screens and the other is a progress menu or for power-ups that you can tap with the stylus. A lot of the nostalgia for me is just the sheen of the new 3D graphics, which makes the previous Mario title Nintendo 64’s Super Mario 64 look antiquated.
