How To View HTML Source Without Loading The Actual HTML

In Chrome and Firefox, you can view a web page’s source code directly by typing into the URL bar:

view-source:[webpage address goes here]

for example:
view-source:http://www.example.com

And that will load the source code without actually loading the HTML. This is useful if you don’t want any popups or malicious code to execute, or you’re debugging a webpage.

Making Internet Money: Fiverr vs. AdSense

By Chongchen Saelee

I use both AdSense and Fiverr to make chump change from the Internet. Making money on the Internet is hard work. You put in a lot of hours and get very little or nothing in return. But if you do it just right, some have made a living off the Internet. It took me at least 5 years to begin to generate some traffic and make those beans. And I’m grateful for all the Internet supporters.

But I want to point out why I like Fiverr better than AdSense. Granted, AdSense is good PASSIVE income. It’s not a lot, but it does it’s job. Fiverr, on the other hand, is almost real-time. (more…)

By Chongchen Saelee

Howdy, loyal readers. If you’re reading this, you probably know that I utilize Google’s ad revenue referral partnership service AdSense on my websites. (Hopefully, you’re not disabling the ads so your homeboy here can generate at least some revenue to pay some maintenance fees and keep his web presence going.)

I haven’t reached the payout threshold yet, but I have noticed an increase in traffic. It’s not much, but it’s still money. Let me share with you my own observations of how to improve your revenue generation the proper way. (more…)

Google Image Search Larger Than Size Option Missing

Google seems to have removed a very useful search option from their search engine. Previously, users were able to search images by size, particularly those “larger than” a certain megapixel size. I found a workaround:

Add the following query to the end of your Google Image Search’s very long url

&tbs=isz:lt,islt:10mp

And you can replace the 10mp with the following size steps: 2mp, 4mp, 6mp, 8mp, 10mp, 15mp, 20mp, 40mp, 70mp.

I hope Google returns these feature as it was quite useful.

The Fat Lady Has Sung for Google Chrome? How Opera browser beats the current beast

If you use the Interwebs as much as I do, you know you want the best Internet browser. You don’t give a rat’s testicle how glitzy the graphical user interface is, or what additional plugins are available. You just want it fast and secure. Up until now, Google has spied and copied many features from their users and competitors and have created a very competent browser. However, it’s getting to be a real pain having to constantly wait for the shite to upgrade itself either before use or running in the background. Google’s Skynet methodology reminds me of the big M aka Micro$oft. But like most service/customer relationships, either party can choose to continue or move on. Is it time for me to choose another browser over Chrome? (more…)
