Whose got some balls, besides John Waters, to depict women in such an ugly fashion since Picasso?

Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within bombed at the box office, but they sure as hell tried to sell to fanboys the idea that CG actress Aki Ross was real… and sexy.
At the time, it was quite convincing. If you have a keen enough eye, there are tell-tale signs that it isn’t real. What makes a computer-generated human really sell the illusion?
The most obvious one is the “plastic” texture has to be fixed. Second is that the model itself shouldn’t be too symmetrical or mathematical. There are some other things, but you can toss that list around yourselves.

Thank Edward Muybridge for taking the first step to documenting the human animal in motion.
Kinda takes away all the erotica, doesn’t it? Well, maybe not. That is quite the shapely lass.
So back to the argument, this one is yet another example of naked women advancing technology. Granted, Muybridge did photograph lots of other animals in motion, men, children, and the famous horse, but you get the picture.

And I thought I would come up with the next big gimmick:
A simple Google Search for “modeling poses” yields infinite results. Would prove quite useful, eh? Figure out why some of these poses work, and some don’t. Some may say it’s as simple as composition.

Nikon D3200, a whopping 24 Megapixel sensor
And it comes in Iron Man red. Running at a reasonable $700, memory card not included, I’d say it’s a good start for anyone who wants to do a beauty service by capturing her essence with technical mastery. Again, it’s not how technologically advanced the camera is, it’s how the photo is taken.

What’s a white knight? A white knight is a derogatory term used by some photographers to label other photographers for trying too hard to win favor of models whether they are attracted to them or want to “steal” them from a hotshot photographer’s entourage.
The average “white knight” looks like this loser.

What’s a GWC? A guy with camera, a derogatory term used by some photographers to label other photographers as preverts whose sole purpose for picking up a camera was to photograph naked women.
The average GWC looks like this loser.

Pay attention to how Hollywood casts its leading ladies. If you’re keen to it, there will always be a string of actors that bear the same looks.
Scarlett Johansson is a beauty. But she looks a lot like Amber Heard. However, Amber Heard does nudity and her typecast isn’t usually associated with “Disney Princesses”, in other words, she has the same look but will be used for more explicit depictions of sexuality. Hollywood uses Scarlett Johansson for these kid-friendly comic book movies while still exploiting her sex appeal. Get it? Two for one.
And then if you really want to target the tweens, you get Kristen Stewart. That’s how they roll.
